The Promised Drawing…

OK, here’s the drawing I promised yesterday. It’s just a quick self-portrait to get my juices flowing… I’m not going to judge it, it is just a doorway back onto my creative path.

Self Portrait by Sybil Archibald

3 things I’m grateful for today:

1) My time drawing
2) I felt good good when I woke up
3) My family

    Glad you’re creating!

I read somewhere that it’s a good idea to end the day with a gratefulness prayer—thanking God for what you’re grateful for that day. I’ve been doing this for a while. The great thing is, it gets me in the habit of looking back through the day and remembering everything I should be grateful for—a gratefulness check—when I may have forgotten, for instance, the clerk at the grocery store who was so kind.

Same thing you’re doing on your blog. It’s a great practice.

“get my juices flowing…” It looks to me like that happened. Powerful, evocative drawing.

And, who needs to wait for ‘Thankgiving’, official gratitude day? You got the right idea. And now I’m grateful to have come across it…:-)
